I have 3 ridge cues in my polytunnel that are producing lots of fruit, but 2/3rds of them I have to throw away because they are bitter. A friend also has some outside that are the same.
There are no other cucumber varieties in the tunnel.
I thought ridge cues didn't have this problem which is why I grew them. I water every day and the plants do not appear to be stressed.
What am I doing wrong?
