I sowed some rice seeds today. This is one of my whimsical experiements for the year. 
They are "Oryza Sativa Japanese rice - Koshihikari" from Jungle Seeds. I am told that this variety does not need to be wet in a padi field or anything - just well watered. I have sown mine deep (about 2") in a large pot and will transplant into the ground come June, assuming they germinate! - all as per the instructions.
Anyone else grown this before or trying it this year? any tips?
