Reliable non-Hybrid sweet pepper seeds

I grow and over-winter my California Wonder and they seem to do well.

You wouldn't need to save seed from California Wonder as they are the most given away pepper in magazines. I think I have 3 packets. Mine weren't very good last year. Marconi Rosso was much better for me

Have you tried buying sweet peppers from the super market and using them. As far as i know they dont use F1 as not comercialy viable My be way of base here though

realseeds have a few that do well in our climate here...

Thought of that but chances are they are from hotter countries and the varieties would not do as well here. Denver and Gypsy are renowned for doing well in our cooler/duller climates.

I also buy sweet pepper seeds from realseeds. Orange bell was the sweetest and best tasting although one plant only yields 6-8 fruits (very large fruits!). The best producer for me was Lipstick, which produced even more than my hybrid plants. I grew both outdoor in pots.

Corno di Toro Rosso from Suttons did well for me last year,as did "sweet"mini red from Wilko patio range

Thanks a lot. Realseeds is exactly what I was looking for. Problem is its 9 pounds delivery outside of UK!!

Wow that is steep! I also recommend Sea Spring seeds if you are interested in Lipstick. I think delivery is �2 within Europe.

always does well for me, you can save the seeds, and it can be overwintered indoors

Try Seedaholic, they are Irish based and provide a great service, right down to the presentation and detailed information sheets...
They have some lovely sweet peppers including Corno do Rosso which I grew last year.
