    Reliable brand of Topsoil?

    Hi

    Can anyone recommend a good brand of quality screened topsoil othat I could buy from a garden centre?

    My raised beds arent quite full with the Rolawn fruit and veg topsoil and so I need to top up.

    Hi Cazp,
    Don't know about branded topsoil. If your raised beds aren't quite full why not get some extra organic matter on them in the form of either well rotted manure or garden compost. Doesn't have to be expensive or fancy. Just spread it over the top and let your worms do the work for you. If you then cover the beds with black polythene you'll have lovely warm, clean, nutrient-rich soil all ready to get growing in the spring.

      They don't have to be full do they? They fill up over the years as you use them and add your own compost.
