I grow it, use the leaves small in salads

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I've grown atriplex (red orach) mainly as an ornamental as I had a "maroon and silver foliage" bed in my old garden. It was very easy, seeded itself around wonderfully (but you can easily pull up any that are in inconvenient places.) Ate it too, mainly just bunging the leaves in a curry instead of spinach. It was OK but I wouldn't rave about it as a vegetable. I'd happily grow it again.

              Mines magenta magic - more a purple/red.

I grew it several years ago alongside mexican tree spinach which I much prefer and does the same job, so just sowed the once and had a few plants pop up for the following few years It self seeds lots (same a the tree spinach).

I was also going to warn not to let it go to seed
