I'm trying early purple white for a September planting this year from the garlicfarm. First time I've bought garlic in years. I didn't manage to plant mine up last Autumn as I was busy with my boys. As a result my crop was on the small side so I thought I'd start with some new stuff this year. I usually plant in October but this variety is supposed to go in earlier. I'll let you know how mine goes.

I'd never heard of it but just noticed its in the new Marshalls catalogue, �6.95 for two bulbs I might give it a go.
