  • raised beds cauliflower

i have grown cauliflower in a raised bed, very tasty, but what can i grow in the same raised bed when the cauliflower has finished, i know i cant grow cauliflower again because of the risk of disease but i am not sure what i can start to grow using the same soil, thanks for any help

Not to late to have a go at some carrots or some beans either dwarf or climbing. And you can fill in all the little spaces with salad items.

I would suggest anything along the lines of 'roots' as they won't mind that the caulis took lot of goodness out of the soil. Carrots, beetroot would be good, ....ah yes, totally agree with gojiberry!

Swede is a brassica as is cauliflower.
Sent from my pc cos I don't have an i-phone.

            So are turnips. and radishes!
Grow anything that isn't a brassica (no turnip, swede, radish, cauli, cabbage, broccoli, brussel sprouts, kohl rabi etc). How about beans and peas, or carrots or parsnips? You will need to bung in some fertiliser (manure would be good) if you want to grow a big eater like courgettes, squash, sweetcorn or the like. Not too late for some last minute spuds!
Warning: I have a dangerous tendency to act like I know what I'm talking about.
