I planted some raab last year and they survived the winter and I am now picking the miniature brocolli florets. Does each plant repeat crop well or do I need to sow more?

Welcome to the vine vegetables. The florets are the plants flowers and by picking them the plant will want to produce more, so you should get more pickings. However it may depend on how low down you cut the first pickings as to how quickly and how much of a second crop you get. I'm almost certain it is supposed to give a crop over several weeks, it's so long since I grew it.

We tried the first crop this evening and they were rather bitter but perhaps we left them on the plants too long.
