    Pumpkins - stopped growing?

    Hi

    Has anyone any idea why my pumpkins (hundred weight) have halted growing? i have 5 of various sizes, from about a foot wide to 2 foot wide, and for probably the last fortnight, they dont seem to be getting any larger. Rubbish weather conditions maybe?

    Could be that you're looking at them too much and not realising the size change, or maybe hundreweight variety only grows to about 2ft here in england. If the're all on the same plant, that could be the problem. Less fruit, bigger size, more fruit smaller. tough one.

      Hi Gary, thanks for your reply.

      Sorry i should have said each pumpkin is on its own plant.

      I do wonder if its a case of looking at them too much, as an after thought perhaps i should try measuring them every couple of days.
