You wanting to grow Cinderella's coach Ian? Never grown this one. I'm trying Big Max this year along with Blue Moon and one that my granddaughter brought home from her pumpkin carving episode at school last year. I'll be interested to hear what everyone has to say.

Um yes I think they are one and the same thing. I have grown these for a couple of years and given a good amount of manure I have had some lovely large pumpkins off the plants. The flesh is really good for sweet and savoury cooking, and they have that classic pumpkin shape.

They look really flat and as I grow them mainly for lamps for my grandchildren, they wouldn't fit the bill. They do look tasty though and I know you make wonderful concoctions with pumpkins Jeanie.

I am also growing them this year and already have them up and running in the kitchen.

I've grown them for the last few years. The best and worst thing I've found with them is their relatively soft skin (unless I've just never ripened them enough ) Makes for easy cutting, can also roast in the skin and eat it. The downfall, they don't store too well.
A good taste and beautiful shape and colouring to contrast with the others.

Sounds like they're worth a bash then... had some seeds from a year or so ago and started them off alongside some jack o'lanterns and figured I'd give away if the concesus was they're no good... read that the jack o'laterns don't taste read so might be them getting the elbow!

one of the seedlings is a monster, must have a 6" span already so guess i need a decent sized spot.
