If some stupid idiot severed a growing stem with two full sized but unripe Sugar Pie pumpkins on it while removing leaves to allow the same to ripen in the sun would they be advised to:-
a) move them into the poly tunnel to try and ripen them off the plant.
or
b) cut them into small pieces and put them in the compost bin.
or
c) None of the above (something else - if so what please?)
I am so cross with myself I can hardly speak.
