 Pumpkin help Hi, i am after a bit of advice about pumpkins. I have grown 2 plants which seem to be thriving each having about 10-12 tennis ball sized pumpkins on them. i have been led to believe that if i just keep 2 on each they will grow to be a bigger size. could anyone tell me if this true as i am only really growing them for the children at halloween. Also do i put something under each fruit to keep it out of contact with the ground. many thanks John      |

| The fewer fruits you keep on, John, the bigger you are likely to be able to get them. You'll need to feed the plant, they are hungry blighters - and water, but I hardly need to tell you in this weather! I usually put a tile under the fruits. We have a few left over from some roofing work we had done when we came here.
