Default potato stalks

the wind has snapped a few of my potato stalks, are the potatos under them doomed or will they survive? brilliant summer so far eh! not!

If all the foliage has been snapped off they won't develop any more, so you may as well dig them up. Having said that, you may well have a good crop down there. Have a dig and see what you've got.

they haven't even flowered yet but I'll have a look tomorrow anyway. thanks for the advice.

Don't go by flowering. Some earlies don't (well, they would if you left them but they are ready as new potatoes before that!)
