  • Potato problems

potatoes are wet when dug up, some have mushy bits on them, and after digging them they are turning watery and mushy in storage, anyone know what the problem is,

Could be one of several possible tuber rots - see Potato Tuber Diseases | AHDB Potatoes.

I've had some problems with blackleg this year, but also the warm and sometimes very wet weather has been ideal for fungi of all sorts.

Thanks for that link. It sounds like the same symptoms as pink rot. They can look ok and then a few days later have started to rot, and the soil is really sticking to them when they are dug
