Default Potato problem??

Hi,

My potato plants look healthy and have flowers and been in for about 12 weeks. They plants themselves have started to topple over but are still green have I done something wrong?

This is my first year growing so I am unsure if this is normal.

I was getting excited thinking lots of lovley spuds, now I am worried about starvation........

M

I think the tops usually die back when the spuds are ready to dig.

Mandy
Notyhing to worry about so long as the tops are still green - they'll start to die off soon - my British Queen did this and my Rooster haulms have just fallen over - soon be lifting them too !

I'm sure your potatoes are fine Mandy. The shaws fall over then start to yellow. That just means they're ready for you to enjoy.
