Poorly Runners

    Poorly Runners

    Hi Folks,

    First time growing them and they look a bit poorly, shriveled, etc. They are currently in my polly tunnel, any advice very welcome.

    Look a bit thirsty to me but it's difficult to say without feeling the soil.

    Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

    Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

        No they don't look happy at all. I'd suggest potting them on Danny. How long have they been out in the Polly tunnel? If they've been out some time I'd risk planting them on into there final position they only look to be in small pot's.
        I planted mine outside in there final position on Monday and there doing great, I bubble wrap them if it's going to be cold.
        I also agree with Alison they could just be thirsty...give them a drink and see if that help's.

            They look like they're in root trainers to me so pot size shouldn't be a problem as you can leave them in there for ages.

              I'd pot on and leave them in the tunnel for another couple of weeks. We had -2 in our greenhouse on Monday night. It's due to be freezing again tonight. As long as they don't get frosted they should buck up with a bit of fresh compost. Good luck with them.

                    Start some more off now - just in case
                    Jiving on down to the beach to see the blue and the gray, seems to be all and it's rosy-it's a beautiful day!
