    Poor Poor BnQ Tomato

    Whilst walking round BnQ today I came across a sad looking Tomato plant that I felt sorry for and bought.
    Some leaves missing, needing repotting, overwatered and shivering outside in the cold, I fell in love with it!
    BUT! when I got it home I noticed some black spots on the lower leaves and now think I shouldn't put it anywhere near my healthy plants.
    Could the spots be cold conditions, lack of nutients, mould or something worse? Please help or I will have to put it down!

    I can't resist a bargain either !
    Did the same and got a tomato for 39p its on the windowsill with the orange pepper and scotch bonnet chilli (also 39p each) although mine sounds healthier than yours. Not such a great bargain when I also bought an established perennial for £7.

    Don't know about your spots I'd keep it seperate for a while just in case and see how it goes.

      I did the EXACT same thing a few years ago. Cost me £1, brought it home and nurtured it. Been using it's seeds year after year since then, it grows a lovely bushy pot tomato which grows about 10 inches high or so. Love the thing

        Yeah I think I'll take off the affected leaves, repot and give it a cuddle

          I'd love it and nurture it. Make it feel wanted. I have to the same to one of the aubergines.
