  • please help someone explain!?! (pots)

ok so i have been asking about stuff on here to put into place on my plot and its come to the turn of the seedling pots but i want 3 of these but unsure if there is 40 plant pots or 18 am i being thick or is this slightly confusing!

Buy the Seed and Cutting Tray at the range.

Darcy no wonder you're confused the add starts of saying 40 then further down they say 'Contains one tray with 18 pots'

The photo shows 40 so I'd say you'd get 40.

    same things on Amazon :-

    Bosmere Seed & Cutting Tray - 40 pots N330: Amazon.co.uk: Garden & Outdoors

It is confusing darcy. I think it would be 40 pots as you can buy a set of 40 pots separately for £2.99 so they want you to pay £3 for the carrying tray - and you can often pick these up for nothing at Garden centres anyway. The 18 pot reference looks as if it belongs to the other larger pot and tray set that they sell.

In my opinion don't bother with them. The pots are really tiny. You would be much better to buy celltrays. What do you want to use them for anyway?

Don't ever come anywhere near my house or garden darcy - you'd have a heart attack. I don't do Tidy or Straight - seems too artificial to me

OK. Courgettes are quite big plants (and seedlings), so they need to be sown in 3 and a half inch pots (2 seeds per pot). Cucumbers same as courgettes.

Tomatoes I sow 5 seeds per 3 and a half inch pot and when they are big enough they get split into their own pots (again at least 3 inch pots). Chillies the same as tomatoes.

Celltrays would have solved your straight line problem. But probably only if she had put each set exactly in the centre of each cell
