Cauli's take about 13 weeks from planting out I think but trying to time them for a show is incredibly difficult. If growing for the kitchen, stagger the planting out dates otherwise they will al be ready at the same time.

Giss a chance, most of us were in bed!

You say they're in a raised bed - brassicas like a really firm soil, loose and fluffy compost isn't good. Tread it down a bit if it is.

They'll take at least 3 months to mature - have a read of this: Growing Cauliflowers - How to Grow Cauliflowers from Allotment Vegetable Growing Advice and Guides
            it's very thorough

TS is right. Caulies are my favourites and I grow them successfully in my soil beds. If the soil in your raised bed is firm, you'll be ok. I'd have said 3 to 4 months to maturity.

Yes the soil is very firm at first I thought a little to firm but glad I didn't fork it over .. So get a little more shad than the rest .. Will that stage the harvest time ??? Made the mistake of planting all out together in my haste ???

I reckon SUmmer Caulis only "stand" for about two weeks from first-ready to last-going-over, so I start some off every two weeks - and only as many as we can eat in two weeks.

If you get a glut they will freeze very successfully.
