      What's a heliport?
It looks a bit like an alder or a goat willow..................maybe

        I think it's a young Cotoneaster.

That would seem feasible as it was growing under one in my last house. How do I separate it from the HELLIBORE without damaging either please?

Water them very well, then fork them up. Separate them teasing the roots apart, then replant in the right place, watering them in very well again.

Keep watering if you don't have rain, until they are well established

Hmmm - the slightly grey leaves look like the new leaves on my honeysuckle - does it show any signs of sending up climbing stems?
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?
