  • Pinto beans

    hi all,
this year for the first time i am trying to grow pinto beans.
    looking to compare.
My beans are growing well and are about 4 inches high but no sign of any flowers yet.
Any advice or am i expecting too much too soon.

    Too much too soon.

Mine are about 8 inches high and still no flowers.

Don't panic, they do get there.

I might buy another bag from the co-op and sow a load more, i have space and as they are left on the plant until the pods go brown you don't need too much space in between for picking like you do with some other beans.

    Flippin' love pinto beans.

      pinto beans

I have pinto beans growing for the first time.
They look healthy enough, about 6inch high but don't appear to be doing much else.
When should they start flowering. I have them in a small half barrell?

        Still too soon.

        I've merged both threads.

I knew I'd forgotten to sow something

          Best get on with it.

Please ignore everything I say, I make it up as I go along, not only do I generally not believe what I write, I never remember it either.

              Pinto beans

Looking for advice on pinto beans.
planted them weeks ago. They are about 6 inches high but are just sitting there doing nothing.
When can I expect them to flower.
              Any other advice greatfully received.
