  • Peas for next year

My pea crop has now been exhausted, and me and the OH have enjoyed them very much.
I bought them from the local garden centre and they were just labelled as "peas", no variety or anything.
I have saved some peas that the pod had gone brown on, and they seemed fairly dry and shrivelled.
Is there any reason why I can't store these and plant them next year?
Do I just put them somewhere dry and dark?

    Thanks

    Dave
Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that, I'll be over
    here, looking through your stuff.

You can certainly save them for next year. Make sure you keep them dry and cool. I stored my saved runner and broad beans in brown paper bags - don't use plastic or they will sweat and go mouldy

go for it! If you liked them then store them! careful though, you'll end up with a seed trunk never mind the box Welcome to the obsessive seed hoarders club

You're on the slippery slope now! Enjoy next year's crop - it will be just as good.
