  • overwintered chilli plant slow to wake up

My over wintered chilli plant, sent out small new leaves at the beginning of March but then decided that's all it's doing
I've done this before and kept one going for 3 years with no problems.

I've tried giving it a diluted feed and repotted it last week but the little leaves are still little and no more new leaves which is unusual.

Any ideas how I can get it some 'get up and go' please

I've got three that came through the winter: one has a fruit on already, the other two are like yours

check for greenfly, they may be sucking the life out of the leaves

Just checked for greenfly and no sign of any but I can see a tiny flower bud!
What leaves it has are only around 1-1 1/2 cm long, can see that being enough to produce a fruit so will take the flower off.

Sorry to hear you have the same problem but does make me feel better.
Maybe I just picked a dud to over winter
