  • Over wintered chilli sucess

Im well pleased I have managed to overwinter an Apache chilli I think the weekly feed of homebrew yeast has helped. Has anyone else had any success?

Home brew yeast? Never heard of using that; what does it do?

My over wintered Superchilli has a dozen fruits on now! Gusto Purple has four fruits and half a dozen flowers. Not Scotch has just started flowering. It's my first attempt at overwintering and it's been a fantastic success.

I didn't feed at all from October and very little water. Cut back quite hard. They suddenly sprung into life in January. Mad!

The yeast is basically the dregs at the bottom of a bottle of home brew and it is supposed to be full of vitimins and minerals seems to have done the trick

Orange Habs, Red Manzano, Lemon Drop and possibly a couple of others that seem to be clinging on!!
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
