Have the leaves fallen over yet? I have most of mine lifted at this stage.. Couple of rows left to do...I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

The leaves of mine have just fallen over but I'm leaving them a bit longer yet as they're still very green.

Can shallots be eaten/cooked straight from the garden or do they need to be stored for a few months first?
