Default onions

is it too late to plant onions ? i've just found a bag of sets that i didn't know i had. should i just put them in and hope for the best????

Not sure of the correct answer - but i think put them in and then they have 2 chances to grow or not to grow. Are they shooting anyway?

I suspect you will get reasonable sized onions from them, but if you don't, you will certainly have the biggest spring onions/scallions in the street!!!
