| A couple of weeks ago I planted my onions in ridges of about 4" high to aid drainage, although I don't think drainage is going to be a problem, but as it's my first year with the plot I copied my neighbour. ![]() Space is a premium as it's a half plot and I have 20 or so left, can I plant these on the flat between the ridges? Sue |

| I will be growing almost all my veg on wide ridges (mechanically produced). In fact, the only veg that will not be on ridges next year are courgettes and whatever is in my tunnel. I find it is easier to get between crops for weeding and aids drainage.
