    Onions & Garlic

    I have just harvested my first onions and garlic that I put in late last year.

    1 How do I store these?

    2 Can you use them straight from the plot?

    Any advice would be welcome

    Last year I strung mine up in the shed in bunches. These are not my onions or garlic. It just gives you an idea.

      yes you can use them straight away but its best to dry them until they go a golden colour as they store better

        My onions bolted so I have been using them fresh from the plot, they slice beautifully nd i have been using some of the green stem too. onions are so cheap it's not worth me growing and drying them. I just use the fresh onions and garlic.
