For those unaware, Wilkos have their Onion Sets out - 50 sets for £1.98. I picked up a bag of red & a bag of white as I had about 10 "Square Feet" that needed filling over the winter. 9 per square foot looks about right.

I put mine in the other day, 3 inches apart, rows 10 inches apart. I paid £1.49p at Otter Nurseries.Gardening ..... begins with daybreak

9 sets in each square foot, I had 10 individual square feet spare.
