Default Onion Seedlings..

Can I put these in my new coldframe or is it still too cold. They are in the house on window sills at the moment and I could do with some more room so was thinking of moving them.

Bex
I had problems with some of my seedlings going leggy. A problem common with windowsill grown apparently. So on the advice of some grapes i moved them into an unheated greenhouse on Friday. So far so good. And we have had frost the last 2 nights too.
If you have more than one tray try putting one in just the see. If it fails at least you have your second tray to fall back on.

Im sure some other grapes will give more advice soon.

If you get chance Bex go to yout local chippie or fishmonger and ask if they have any of the polystyrene boxes that they have fish delivered in what you can do is stand thetrays in these and being white they will replect the light and you can always drape some fleece over if yuo want to give them a bit of extra protection.
