    Can I join. I've just harvested 2 different types of shallots - going to be stringing them tonight. Might post photo.

    Yours look fabbo...what are you making with yours tonight. Mine is curry.

        I had to defrost a leg of lamb to fit 5kg of peas in the freezer took all three of us hours to pod 'em yesterday.....

        Hoping to bag a chest freezer on ebay today - desperately needing it.

        I've still got about 50-60 white onions that haven't gone over yet can't remember what they are and my shallots aren't ready yet.

            They look absolutely wonderful. Mine are a way off yet but if they look half as good I'll be delighted but the shallots are fattening up nicely. Well done.
