Further to my previous post on okra, here is an update for any who may be interested!

Sowed these babies on 24/3/09 in a heated propagator and they are now about 3 inches high, in pots.

As I have never grown them before, can anyone tell me if this may be heading for a success story or am I still in danger of them dying on me. I am planning to put them in my greenhouse in a couple of weeks.

Hope the photos are o.k, took them on my phone!

I found the hard bit was giving them enough warmth that they would grow! Admittedly it was last year in all the rain, and they were only in a placcy greenhouse - so it just wasn't warm enough for them

I did get 2 or 3 fruit per plant so not a total disaster but I won't be growing them again this year. :-(
Warning: I have a dangerous tendency to act like I know what I'm talking about.
