  • Oh no...

Just been out to my greenhouse (a plastic thingy one) to find that 2 of my trays of planted seeds has been pushed onto the floor... Which is half my entire lot... So I've scooped the whole lot up and stuck it back into the trays... Goodness knows what if anything is going to grow now... And how i am going to tell... So here's hoping xxxx

Good luck! It happens to all of us at times

The cat knocked my tray of delphinium seedlings over - at least they were mixed to start with

If they're still just seeds, something should grow. Its when they're seedlings and the trays upend themselves, crushing all the little plants that's its really "upsetting"

Happens to the best of us. My large exhibition onions got this treatment earlier in the year when I tripped over the cable of my heated propagator. I stuck the compost back in and some have survived. Two different varieties of onion mind

ooooh it happened to me earlier on this year I planted a lot of strawberry seed and other seeds and put them into a heated propagator and then plugged the propagator in. I then went too water and tripped up on the cable and sent them all over the floor soo they all got mixed up :/

I tried those green houses but my house is too exposed and went through 3 in a summer. I could put up with some being knocked over but it happened every day and in the end the green house got torn to bits.

              I hope your grow.

This greenhouse has ahead a few repairs already, but I can't afford anything more unfortunately...

There were about 6 different types of seeds growing... They hadn't yet started to grow so hopefully something will come of them xxxx

Happened to me on Saturday, with two different types of flea-sized aubergine seeds freshly sown in modules... i scooped up as much as i could and picked out all the seeds at home. Annoying, but no harm done.

Oh dear.....still fun experiment to see what comes up! When my son was younger he spent a lovely afternoon rearranging the labels in pots of seeds for me...very annoying!
