  • not sure if garlic's a gonna?

I planted mine on oct 10th. No sing of them yet. Should I poke around and have a look (not today as they have snow on)? How long before they should have emerged?

I had spring planted ones last year and they seemed to be up quick from what I remember.

    Any thoughts appreciated

I planted mine around the same time and only got the first shoots through this weekend. So fear not they may still pop up

Same here, but I had a poke about and found that they are sprouting fine and rooting well. Must be the colder weather this year.

Mine haven't appeared either Janeyo but the weather has been very cold all of Nov and Dec so I'm putting it down to that. Hopefully as soon as we have some milder weather they will pop up.

I'm a bit milder here, and mine are 4" tall ~ planted at the same time. You've got hope yet.

Before the snow I noticed a couple of shoots through. Again, I'd planted mine in Oct, so I think it is just because it's colder. New Year's Eve 2007 I had a daffodil out, this year they're only just showing signs of buds.

I planted mine in Oct and they are about 4" but the onion sets are being very slow.

mine have only just appeared too, so it looks as though you are in good company, it has been a very cold autumn/winter though hasn't it, and very wet here.
