  • Night temps this week

Are predicted to be 0 or -1 for a few nights here this week.

I have lots of seedlings outside in a little polytunnel right now and need to know what I need to bring in at night as I don't know how much protection my little tunnel can provide.

    Bring in - cucumber (marketmore)
    sweetcorn

    Leave outside - leeks
    sugar snap peas
    radishes

Unsure - Broccoli (calabrese), brussels sprouts, sunflowers

Would love a few words of advice on what needs to come inside tonight.

    "Bring in" yes !
    "Leave out" yes !
"Unsure", leave out , not sure about sunflowers ?
You have to loose sight of the shore sometimes to cross new oceans

I would be a perfectionist, but I dont have the time

Glad I earthed up[ my spuds and put them in a little wooden shed (albeit with a couple holes in it) earlier then! Also glad I moved my apricot tree back further into the garage!!!

Thank you both, seedlings have been retrieved and atop my fish tank till morning.

Also there was a little slug munching on calabrese seedlings which was hastily despatched to sluggy heaven.

I potted up 20 sunflower seedlings today that have been growing, self-seeded, in the border with frost on several nights in the last week. If yours are under cloche/polytunnel I wouldn't worry. The rest, I agree with the other vines
