  • new to veg growing

I have just put a raised bed in yesterday, I have never grown veg before. I have cabbage, cauliflower, leeks, spring onion, onion started off in modules in the greenhouse. I have beetroot still to sow also in modules but was wondering if I can start carrots off the same way and when would i need to sow the beetroot and carrots,

Personally I wouldn't do anything other than sow carrots in situ, distrubance is not a good idea!

Also, beetroot - I wouldn't do these in modules as they are so darn easy to stick a seed in situ and away it goes.

Keep your work to a minimum, sowing in modules means pricking out/potting on - sowing in situ means less work
