  • Naga jolokia question

Hi all, have been growing chilli's for the last few years, last year I grew, joes long, paper lantern and basket of fire, I started all of them off in a heated propagation alongside my naga jolokia seeds, nearly all germinated within two weeks, not one of the naga seeds germinated, they were new seeds I had bought and were in date, am thinking of buying more tomorrow to try again, did I do something wrong with these seeds or were they a bad batch ??????

I find the hotter chillies often take longer to germinate. Don't throw them away after two weeks...some of mine have taken 5weeks to germinate

Yes, Just hang in with them for a while - of course getting more seeds is always a good thing - you can never grow too many chillies.

I've some super hot's germinating - I hope - and it's been over 2 weeks now with nothing so far.

I've had a chocolate habanero germinate after six weeks so it really is worth waiting
Posted on an iPad so apologies for any randomly auto-corrected gobbledegook
