    My Veg Plot!!!

    Hi all I haven't got a veg plot or an allotment but here are some pics of how I am trying to grow veg this year.

    Potatoes.



    Carrots and Beetroot



    I will keep you up to date on how things go.

      Brilliant, I think what you are doing is fantastic and an inspiration to everyone with limited space !
      I have grown vegetables in all sorts of containers with varying degrees of success.
      The main thing with containers as with any close cropped plants is to watch out for pests and always make sure the soil is moist.
      I wish you lots of luck and hope you have a good crop.
      Don't forget to keep us posted !

            Well done you...containers can be fab for the right veggies.

            I'm using a shoe bag from Jones the Bootmakers; it's a biodegradable bag and quite tall and slim so i reckon it will be perfect for a cucumber

              Hi RtB just a little word of warning with using a biodegradable bag. Some will start degrading fairly quickly and if you get it wrong you will end up with a cucumber still growing and no bag.

                  pretty soon your potatoes won't just be peeping out - they'll be taking over your garden

                  good luck to you - I am 80% container growing and 20% raised bed growing, so i'm with you!!!
