  • My Inside Outside Greenhouse

Well the Greenhouse (7 feet by 4.5 feet) I bought from Wilkinsons - the one with the zipped cover has gone in place.
As I already have Tomatoes in my Glass Greenhouse, and I had nothing ready to go in the Wilko one, I decided not to put the cover on it for now but to cover it inside and out with Pea Netting and have now planted my Purple Flowered/Podded Peas and Runner Beans around the outside and up each side of the aisle inside.
Hope I haven't left it too late, but both the Peas and Beans had been brought on in Trays and were in a bit of a tangle (all about 18 inches high) when I tried to remove them from the compartments in the Trays
Will be interesting to see how they do??

Sound like a wonderful idea and you should be able to get inside to pick all around the plants. Try to get a photo later when it is in full swing.

        I will do - a before and after !!
I'll take a photo tomorrow morning - but don't intend taking the plants out again to show an exact "before" as it was difficult enough to do it all first time round.
Will then post when things take off a bit.

Wilko greenhouse now erected in place.
Filled with a dozen Harbinger Tomato plants I grew from free seed from Thomson and Morgan which I received with the Seed Potatoes/Bags a few months ago.
Only draw back of a Greenhouse with the plastic cover, is that when the flies, wasps etc., get in there they can't get back out and just stay inside on the roof.
Think I'll have to investigate if it is still possible to buy "Fly Papers". Remember them from when I was a child and thought they were horrible things in those days (a strip of sticky paper hanging up and littered with the carcases of dead flies)
