I am so excited with my achievement. They have more time to grow yet. But we have started picking them as and when we need some potatoes.

I did have a taste and they tasted good, but it was my daughter who had them as a meal. She enjoys eating the harvests from the garden. She wasn’t into strawberries, but since I’ve showed her fresh strawberries growing in the garden, she enjoys strawberries now. Gardening is great.
I do feel old though. Till last year, I used to class it as something old people do.Comment

3 weeks till we get to "hopefully" enjoy our Charlotte potatoes
On a caravan holiday down in Somerset and as the spuds are in a growbag i'm just going to take them as they are so they are still growing right up until we use them for a sunday roast. Not furtled them so no idea how they have got on. The leaves seem to be dying back somewhat which is concerning me a little bit but with only a few weeks left til i harvest them i'm just keeping the soil constantly moist until then.
