Just goes to show that littler ones have better eyesight than us. Granddaughter (nearly 2) is really into mini-beasts and spots even the tiniest ones. She is absolutely fascinated with ants

Well done to her! I don't have children myself, but my plot neighbours girls come and help me kill any slugs or snails. I'm also teaching them about weeding and they like to do the watering too. I get my children to go 'caterpillaring' as they are much better at it than me, and are less squeamish about squashing them than I am!Comment
