  • Mooli Radish

I have tried growing mooli for the first time this year, but found them very disappointing, the foliage is about 18ins. tall and producing seed heads and the actual root is hardly the length of my little finger, and not as thick, do I leave them in the ground or would I be better to bin them?
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

I'd give them some more time yet Rary. Looking back at my notes from last year I didn't lift Mooli until October and they were full-sized.

Sorry I just noticed you said they're going to seed. In that case I'd sow replacements. Sowing months for Mooli are around June, July and August.

                I've not down mine yet!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
