A daft question but..... Can I grow different varieties of beans- ie Runner, Borlotto, and climbing french beans up the same wigwam? ......thinking cross pollination here.

French beans don't normally cross, and french and runners are different anyway - so yes, you should be fine, HF.
Your wigwam will look lovelly with different beans growing.

Cross pollination only matters if you intend to save your own seed to grow next year. I often grow purple french beans with my runners and they do look pretty.Comment

Borlotti are French beans
