  • Medium chillis to grow in spain?

My Dad has sent me his Christmas list (ho,ho,ho) and he would like some medium-hot chillis to grow from seed. This is in Spain so hardiness not really an issue, but they must be medium / on the mild side of medium or he will catch on fire... Can some of you chilli-experts recommend a suitable variety?
    Thanks!!

Jalapenos - they're pretty medium and a good taste, can be used fresh or pickled.

Hungarian Hot Wax are easy to grow, mild, get quite big , produce plenty and good for stuffing. I'm sure your Dad will like them.

out here i grow poblana for when i want to use one for stuffing/roasting and padron these i can leave on the plant for longer for more heat but i pick them early for milder heat.this year from 6 plants i have picked over 700 fruit the extra heat we get here prolongs the growing season so i think it would for your dad too...

Thank you all for those suggestions, I must say I like the sound of "Hot Wax" () but will look into all of them!
