  • Master Gardener

    Hi there
has anyone had any dealings with them...just wondered if it was something for beginners or those with a some knowedge and skills?

  • #2
I've got some knowledge, as I work down the corridor from the guys that run it

It is for slightly more experienced, as the idea of a Master Gardener is that in return for the course; you will take on an amount of local people and help them with their gardens.

Best thing to do is contact them and see if your experience and skills are of use.

        What did you think?

Did you want a Master Gardener to come and assist you? As that's what they are there to do.

Safhyre - I've already referred one of the teachers at one of my schools; she has gardened for years and is now down to a square metre patch and just wants help to get the best from her tiny patch.

Anyone can ask, that's what the idea is all about...if you would rather send me your details by PM then I can do it for you and cut out the form filling on the internet. Be a pleasure.

Please ignore everything I say, I make it up as I go along, not only do I generally not believe what I write, I never remember it either.

Are there any Master Gardeners on the vine? I have thought about becoming one but have not seen anything for Wales as yet.
