I think it's the weather for me.
I've got gergana from OHs uncle (an heirloom variety) got flowers but I do think I saw one teeeeeeny cuc starting. His uncle has heated GH so probably drowning in cucs and toms by now...I expect a visit soon to inspect his produce hehe . He will be disappointed

There has been a lot of rain, muggy conditions. Summer hasn't really started here yet

Are you sure there aren't cukes behind the flowers? If they're happy enough to be flowering they shouldnt be far behind

I'm in the same boat on the South Devon/Dorset border. Three types of Cuc and in the greenhouse Wautoma, Marketmore and Gergina (something like that!) and have triffids and only two cucs growing on 6 plants at the moment. This time last year I couldn't give them away I had so many.

It has to be the weather, not been good since May really.

Yes, Jonnnyt, guess you're right re the weather ~ just not had enough sun, right across all parts of the country......

On inspection in GH just, (still only up to 21c) - the one (and only..!!!!!) flower that appeared two days ago looks to have a cucumber forming behind it .....only mini, but it's a start .......

Also, hallelujah !! There's a second flower appeared this morning.......!!!!!!

I'm southwest dorset. Lots of flowers and not a sign of a cumber. Tunnel has been up 27/28 a fair few days but it's been so damn muggy and usually very windy outside. Growing marketmore
