    Marco garlic

    I've just come back from my mums and I had to harvest my garlic very early because she wants me to take rest of my gardening stuff to mine so she can sort her garden out. I would of brought them over here if I had a garden but I don't so I've had to harvest them.

    There is no problems doing that is there? The leaves are turning yellow.

    We harvested our Marco garlic last week, the leaves were turning and I wanted to beat the forcasted rain in case it encouraged white rot. It's curing now and looks just about perfect.

      picked mine about 2 weeks ago as mine had white rot ive saved about 10 bulbs from the 30-40 i planted and there drying nicely

      the only problem you may have is the size some may not be as big from a post i read the other day its better to pick them early as they store better than leaving them till its all yellow

        Thanks, they are not small. Well I have two that is small. But the others are fine and the size I usually buy from the shops.
