  • lost my psb

I remember sowing it and it's in the diary that I did. But can't find it anywhere in the veg beds! Weird.
Is it too late to sow again or should I go for some plug plants this year?
Last year my plants saw us thorugh about 2 months of cropping in late winter.

      That's what I thought too.

Maybe we have psb fairies round here. I thought put might be in nanna's garden as I put some spare brassicas there but can't find it there either.
And I am sure I labelled it!

That's funny cos I can't find mine either. I know I sowed it and potted them on but after that it is a mystery. Trouble is I grow so much and give 75% of it away as plants for planting out I must have given all the psb away. Note to self "try to get a bit more organised".

I have sown some and popped it in the greenhouse so it may come through sooner. It will have 2 chances...

I may order some plants anyway as you can;t have enough psb in my opinion!

Judging by the current size of my psbs (as HayleyB says, about 3ft tall and as wide) you'd certainly know if you still had them. Mine are constrained under a covering of not-quite-generous enough width enviromesh after finding so super hungry caterpillars on them in May. I've spotted the very first sproutings this week so hope to be harvesting within August.
              come visit a garden

Mine's huge, can't get the enviromesh over it, luckily I have loads of sparrows and other little birdies that seem to be doing the pillars for me, apart from squashing eggs I've not seen a single cat yet.....
