    Not very good at these links - so hope it works,
    This family grows 6000 llbs of produce on 1/10th of an acre.

      Wow what an amazing job they've done. If I've done the maths correctly, then that's about 405 square metres, which is only a bit bigger than the size of my old allotment plots, and I was never that productive, or organised
      Must bookmark this for inspiration as to what I can do with my garden this year (on a smaller scale of course) and definately when I get a new allotment

              Yeah me too - it's very inspirational - and I think what we're all striving to
              achieve in our own way. What with peak oil, wars and disasters and all the
              internet chatter - I'd love to be free and self sufficient - but hey baby steps!

                  Is that tongue-in-cheek? Or maybe I have wrong-end-of-stick, but I thought that lot grew all the food for their family on a pocket-handkerchief sized piece of land in the middle of a city?

                    That is awesome! As I get more into growing (any my dreams of a smallholding get further and further away!) this sort of thing is really interesting me.
