  • Lining compost bin

I have noticed over the allotments that a lot of people line their wooden compost bins with weed membrane, is this a good idea? I would have thought it would have restricted airflow but then there is limited in daleks.

    Any views?

I use old woven tarpaulin in pallet bins to make the woos last longer and stop the compost falling out through the slats. Works well and produces excellent compost.
